OSDU is an international group of oil and gas operators, technology providers, service companies, universities, and standard organizations that aims to build an open data platform for the oil and gas industry.

With more than 840 organizations, including customers, systems and solutions suppliers, tool vendors, integrators, academics and consultants across numerous industries they are driving technology through collaborative innovation.
What is the objective of the OSDU Forum?
The OSDU Forum aims to build a cloud-native subsurface and wells data platform for the oil & gas industry. The platform reduces silos and puts data at the core of the subsurface community.
One of the main deliverables of this Forum is to publish a Reference Architecture for the platform.
Initial implementations have been delivered by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform to name the most important players.
Why we joined?
Prores is joining OSDU so we can share our best practices to maximize value for the forum members.
Our main product Sendra is being lifted to be supported on this new platform to increase the value further for its customers.
With our long history in SCAL we want to contribute with our domain expertise to establish excellent standards for exchanging data.
